On the surface, today’s inspirational quote appears to only apply to those people who pursue artistic and creative endeavors, however, I’m not so sure that is the case.  I think this inspirational quote can be applied to life in general.  Applied to how each one of us can approach our lives by thinking outside of the box (cliché I know, but it describes my thoughts on this perfectly).

Stepping out of our comfort zones can allow us to see not only the big picture, but those solutions to our dilemmas that we might otherwise be blind to.  Approaching a problem creatively may, at times, reveal a better solution.  The more you do this, the better those solutions will be.

Plus, stepping into uncomfortable territory forces us to grow.  To see the world from a different perspective.  It widens the scope of our vision, and enriches our lives.  Don’t be afraid to try something creative, something new.  Who knows, you might surprise yourself.
