“Too many of us are not living our dreams because we are living our fears.”
~ Les Brown
Once upon a time in my life I only lived my fears. I didn’t know how else to live. I existed day-to-day in a world filled with apprehension and terror. It wasn’t until my oldest child experienced some of that horror did I break loose from the fear-laden life I lived.
What I found was, I started to live for my dreams; to live for something other than just survival; to live for my children; to live for myself. Even more surprising to me, a byproduct of living my dreams was peaceful contentment. I grew into happiness. I grew into hopefulness.
Now, the current state of my life is in a permanent state of ‘what do I want to achieve next’. I feel that I’m free to soar any skies that I choose to. Don’t let fear stifle the beautiful world you can live in. However sappy it sounds, live your life to achieve your dreams, no matter how big or small they are. Cast off your fears and fly.
